Games/Bavaria is a joint brand of all government institutions and programs supporting the games industry in the state of Bavaria, Germany. Funding, Networking and Community: All of activities are labelled with the brand to unify all efforts to grow an ecosystem in which indies and AAA can flourish.

Games/Bavaria is even active beyond the Bavarian borders, working to increase the visibility of our local industry in the whole wide world. How? With shared websites, events and last but not least diverse group appearances at important industry events like gamescom in Cologne, Game Connection in Paris and the Tokyo Game Show

gamecamp Munich

This event is probably the biggest game related barcamp in europe. 200 Attendees use the opportunity to get together and discuss topics around games. The bar camp principle allows every attendee of this special event to speak themselves, not only spectate at the event.

Gamescom Community Booth

Once a year, all video game enthusiasts of Europe culminate in Cologne for the biggest games celebration in Europe. Over 355.000 consumers celebrate the games for five days. In the midst of this event, Games/Bavaria hosted a joint booth, representing local companies under one roof.
